• Ulnar lateral ligament lesion of MCP 1 (e.g. skier's thumb)
• Partial immobilisation of the radial carpus, metacarpo-phalangeal and carpo-metacarpal joint in cases of saddle joint arthrosis
• Arthrosis of the radial carpus and MCP 1
• Navicular pseudoarthrosis
